2024 Farewell Issue
Each year, Talon Magazine publishes a special issue dedicated to the staff and seniors who are bidding farewell to the Comp Sci family. While this isn't goodbye forever, it is the proverbial "leaving the nest." Farewell, friends.

When you think back to your time in high school, what will you remember? The friendships? The mountains of homework? The school lunch and what was in the "chicken?"
High school is a mixture of experiences. It's different lives and backgrounds coming together in one place for four years. It's a combination of successes and failures. Deep conversations, breathless laughter, and relentless tears. High school is when identities and bonds are formed. It's also a place where identities and bonds can be shattered.
It's all of the good and the bad—our biggest fears, the life lessons, the meaningful experiences—that helped to shape who we are today and who we will bring into the "real" world after we graduate.
In this special farewell issue of Talon Magazine, we interviewed Comp Sci seniors at the moment before stepping into the real world. We also interviewed a very special administrator who is at the end of a 35-plus year career in education.
In these interviews, we were given one more opportunity to learn about those fears, lessons, and meaningful experiences before the class of 2024 (and Mr. Lotreck) is "DISMISSED."
